Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:

In Week one, you were introduced to the psychoanalytic theories of personality. Week Two examines the psychoanalytic-social theories of personality and the main components of each. It is helpful to note that the psychoanalytic-social theories evolved from and built upon Freud’s ideas.

• Provide a specific aspect in the theories of Adler, Horney, and Erickson that differs from Freud’s theories. How are the theories of Adler, Horney, and Erickson similar to one another? Based on this week’s readings, which theory do you think is best at explaining personality?
