If you are not currently in the policing field, your example of police operations should not come from television as that is not realistic. To understanding policing you need to be able to explain the operations of an agency. What are different functions of a police agency? Provide examples that explain each function. What is police corruption and misconduct? What are possible consequences to this type of policing? Why is this important to understand?
