Locate two peer-reviewed articles no older than 10 years in the University Library that compare the differences between public-sector and private-sector correctional facilities in the United States. Do not forget to cite these sources in the body of your paper, identifying them as the basis your investigation, and include them on the reference page.

Select and Identify a position that is either in support of or in opposition to the privatization of prisons.

Write a 1,050 to 1,400-word essay that explains your selected position in regards to the privatization of prisons. Your position should incorporate supporting evidence that has been gathered from at least two additional peer-reviewed sources no older than 10 years that support your position as well as two additional resources that may or may not be peer-reviewed. All peer-reviewed sources must be discuss correctional facilities in the United States. Include evidence that demonstrates the differences between private and public sector prisons in regards to the following topics:

• Operations of correctional organizations
• Correctional personnel roles and functions
• Correctional issues and practices

Include a discussion of opposing arguments and provide brief rebuttals.
