Explore various websites, textbook readings, local community, and other organizational areas that act as a resource for early childhood science education.

 

Choose five science resources for young children that you find to be effective and could be used for developmentally appropriate early childhood science instruction. The resources must contain one or more of the following requirements:

  • Curriculum – lesson plans or resource books beyond textbooks

  • Local community resources

  • Professional science organization

  • A science simulation site (such as Questacon – The ScIslands)

 

Create an annotated bibliography in which you highlight each of the resources and their benefits in two to three sentences.

 

Format your assignment according to APA guidelines.
