In Week 1, we discussed the dimensions of citizenship education and their importance. Now let us take a closer look at the different types of resources for use in social studies instruction. Consider the grade level you wish to teach and choose a social studies topic required at that grade level. Locate an online resource (website) that you believe to be appropriate and that can support students’ learning in the topic.
Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
- What are the most important criteria for evaluating online resources?
- In what ways will the online resource you chose deepen student learning?
