Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 or more words:

According to Kettl (2021), the demand for services from the government has increased since the end of World War II. The services include, but are not limited to, roads, food safety, mass transit, better schools, and a stronger health and economic safety net.

Kettl also described five myths about the size of the government. Select one of the five myths, and in 175 words address the following:

  • Give a brief synopsis of the myth.

  • Cite facts that describe why the claims are false.

  • Recommend ways to help the public deal with this misinformation.
