There are lots of different recommendations for dietary intake. They come from government agencies, nutritional medical experts, and even celebrities. Many of these guidelines discuss some sort of recommendations for consumption of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.

Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words include some facts from a resource/articles to support your comments. Avoid a one sentence general answer to each question. Expand with details.

  • Share some of the recommendations you have heard of regarding a daily diet. (ie: food pyramid)
  • How are they the same? How are they different? What are the health benefits of each? Any risks?
  • What do you follow regarding food choices for health/energy/budget/etc. What may be a change?
