IT 205 Week 8 Individual: Developing a Strategy to Build a New Mobile Ordering System, Part 1

Note: This assignment spans Week 8 and 9 with the final grade and assessment in Week 9.

Over the weeks in this course, you have studied Information Systems and their components in a business and outside of a business. Looking back, there may be assignments you would have done differently given what you know now.

Considering your assignments and Learning Team discussions from Weeks Two, Five and Seven, complete a paper on your learning. Do not just cut and paste from prior assignments, this is a new assignment based on your learning experience in the course. Using Microsoft® Word, the 525- to 700-word paper should include the following:

• Week Two: If you could go back in time to Week One, what one piece of advice would you give yourself in writing the memo on Business Process Modeling and Business Process Modeling Notation in Information Systems in regards to being accurate and complete in your memo? Provide one piece of advice.
• Week Three: Knowing what you know now, what additional components would you add to the examples you provided? Describe at least one additional clear example for each component type.
• Week Five: Looking back at Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), compare traditional ERP applications and cloud/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. Provide at least two relevant ways the two are similar and two ways they are dissimilar based on your readings in the chapters and the discussions of your Learning Team.
