Research human services organizations that serve the selected population. Research the organization’s domestic services and global services, if provided. In addition, research one of the theories presented in Chapter 4 of Human Services in Contemporary America that relates to your selected population.

Create a 12- to 15-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation about your selected population in which you address the following:

• A brief description of the problem the selected population faces
• A brief description of the organization’s domestic services and global services, if provided
• The approach the organizations are taking to address the needs of the population
• What obstacles and controversial issues the organizations face when addressing the needs of the population
• Analysis of these organizations’ effectiveness in addressing these needs
• A summary of the major tenets of the theory from Ch. 4 that relates to the selected population
• A brief discussion about how the theory is utilized to better understand the needs of the population
• A brief discussion about how the theory relates to treatment approaches

Include speaker notes with your presentation.

Format your presentation consistent with APA guidelines.

Include a minimum of 2 scholarly resources (1 source should be your textbook and the other should be an outside scholarly source).
