Culture can be very specific to an individual or family. What kinds of things do you want to know in order to gain some insight into the culture of another person?

Often, when assessing for culture, individuals will ask “What is your culture?” People may find this difficult to answer.

How might you find out about an individual or family’s culture? What strategies or questions have you found helpful to get this information from a client?
