CHM 110 Week 1 Chemistry and Society Paper

Write a minimum of 800 words in which you explain the importance of measurement in chemistry. Include the following information:

• Describe the differences between accuracy and precision.
• Explain how society depends upon the accuracy and precision of measurements for products sold by the retail industry (e.g., a gallon of gasoline, a bushel of corn, or a liter of bottled water).
• Compare and contrast the accuracy and precision of at least three types of measurements used in your everyday life.
