DBM 380 Week 3 Learning Team: Service Request SR-ht-003: Change Request 3

Continue working on Service Request SR-ht-003, due in Week Five, by completing Change Request 3.

Create relationships in your Access database from week 2. Make sure that you enforce referential integrity in your relationships. Put in 10 records of semi-realistic data per table, but don’t feel as though you need to research trucking concepts for this part. If you aren’t sure what to put in a field, such as FOB, just put something in there – the goal here isn’t to see if you can come up with realistic trucking data.

Try to make up reasonable relationships. You may find that the entities / attributes are not optimally designed.  Any reasonable set of relationships will be acceptable, as you have little information to go on here. Try to avoid making connections that are obviously wrong (e.g., a date linked to a number column, or a person’s name linked to a VIN), but otherwise, you will be given wide latitude here. Try not to leave any tables stranded – ideally, every table should have one or more relationships, and all tables should be worked into the same web of relationships.
