This week focuses on the influence and importance of creativity in arts education. Creativity might be defined, appreciated, and measured differently by each of us; however, all agree that inspiring children to be creative in their expression is highly encouraged. Do you believe that creativity can be taught? Why or why not? What are some processes to encourage creativity in young children? Explain and provide specific examples to support your responses.
