Write a 350- to 700-word paper on one of the following topics:

  • Your favorite hobby or activity

  • Your career goals

  • Your solution to a problem at work

  • Another topic of your choice with faculty approval

Choose a topic you did not choose to write about in Week 1.

Include the following types of sentences in your paper:

  • At least one sentence should be simple construction.

  • At least two sentences should contain a coordinating conjunction.

  • At least two sentences should contain a semicolon.

Ensure that none of your sentences are fragments or run-ons. Correct and eliminate any comma splices.

Demonstrate proper subject/verb agreement and verb tense consistency.

Review your paper to correct any other grammar errors prior to submission.

Format your assignment according to appropriate course-level APA or MLA guidelines set by your instructor in the course syllabus.
