ENG 265 Week 1 Short Story Analysis Worksheet

Each week you will examine a short story and analyze it by giving short responses on each of the following topics: Themes, plot, setting, conflict, characterization, point of view, language, and a short reflection. Even though some of these topics are not discussed until later weeks, do your best to respond to each of them.

Some weeks have designated stories for you to analyze; for others, you will need to select from stories you are not using for other assignments that week.
