Search on Google, then watch the TEDTalk entitled “Touchscreen: Marshall “Soulful” Jones at TEDxMontreal.” Discuss your thoughts on this with the class. This relates to many course competencies both this week and next, social media, technology and American Culture.

Consider how prevalent social media is today. How do you use social media for the different areas of your life? For example, would you use it differently with your friends than you would to promote a small business or an organization to which you belong? Explain the different ways to use social media. Include a time when you may have used social media incorrectly and the lessons you learned.
