Using the Practice Labs environment setup in the lab “Implementing Storage Pools,” configurea storage pool, virtual disk, volume, and view it in File Explorer.

Complete the following configuration for this lab:

  • Create a storage pool which meets the following specifications:

    • Name the storage pool <YourLastNamePool>
    • Use all available drives in the pool

  • Using the storage pool you just created, create a virtual disk which meets the following specifications:

    • Virtual disk name: <YourLastNameDisk>
    • Storage Layout: Parity
    • Provisioning Type: Fixed
    • Virtual disk size: <Choose an appropriate size>

  • Using the virtual disk you created, configure a volume which meets the following specifications:

    • Volume size: <Choose an appropriate size>
    • Drive letter: <Choose an appropriate drive letter>
    • File system: NTFS
    • Volume label: <YourLastNameVolume>

  • Verify the status of the volume using File Explorer

Take screenshots of each lab step completed, and paste them into a single Microsoft® Word document.

Name the Microsoft® Word document “<Your Name> Configure Disks Lab Results Week Two”.
