You are hired as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of a startup company, which just opened two branches; one in Los Angeles and one in San Francisco. The company needs the employees in both locations to have the ability to work together remotely on projects, but the company doesn’t know anything about networking. They need your help to learn the basics, so you will create a presentation for the Board of Directors about aspects of general networking, plus recommendations for cloud-based solutions that the company might be interested in looking into further.

Your presentation to the Board of Directors should include the following items:

• Discuss two different network topologies (examples: ring, bus, hybrid, mesh). Why/when would you use each topology?
• Discuss two different Internet or wireless network protocols that the company could consider using (examples: TCP, Wifi, HTTP, Bluetooth) and discuss how they work in detail.
• Discuss equipment needed to set up a network. List at least 3 items and share what they are used for.
• Discuss in detail, one cloud-based software/service that can be used to hold virtual meetings.
• Discuss in detail, one cloud-based software/service that can be used to share documents.

Create a PowerPoint presentation that contains your research. The presentation must be at least 8 slides in length (which includes title and reference slides), contain detailed speaker’s notes, and use appropriate/professional graphics and design. **You must use at least 1 reference for your research in this presentation.
