Post a total of 3 substantive responses over 2 separate days for full participation. This includes your initial post and 2 replies to classmates or your faculty member. Initial Post must always incorporate citation/resource from your research; ALL Posts should advance a critical examination of the Weekly topic(s).

Due Thursday

It’s not just police officers that may engage in unethical behaviors; criminal justice professionals who work in the courts also have the potential to act in inappropriate or unscrupulous manners. This is because, to varying degrees, court personnel such as prosecutors, defense attorneys, and judges may have discretionary powers far greater than those of the police.

Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:

  • Discuss how professionals in the court system can engage in misconduct.
  • Describe a circumstance in which a miscarriage of justice occurred. What was the resulting outcome of the case? Were the court personnel held accountable for their actions? If so, how?

Due Monday

Post 2 replies to classmates or your faculty member. Be constructive and professional.
