COMM 315 Wk 3-Listening Discussion

Hi Class,

The Julian Treasure TED Talk about listening is often a favorite with students. I think that is for two reasons. The first is that we don’t often talk about listening. So, learning to listen is new to many students. The second reason is that it gets many of us thinking about how much better our relationships both at work and home could improve if we practice better listening skills.

Listen to the video then share your thoughts with the following questions in mind in 175 words or more of good writing.

Response to 2 students or instructor with 50 words or more of good writing.

Response = 20

Response + 1 reply = 30

Response + 2 replies = 40

As you view the video and begin thinking more about listening begin asking yourself these questions. Then form a well written response to answer all or most of them with good writing of 175 words or more. Feel free to find more resources on listening and share them using APA formatting.
