This week, you and your team will research sustainable energy initiatives and create a renewable energy grant proposal. You must describe energy issues such as sources and conservation. Additionally, your team must explain energy policy development and analyze policy proposals for energy issues.

Renewable Energy Options Briefing

Your company aims to enter the renewable energy market. As part of a sustainable energy initiative, your state issues development grants to companies that support the increased use of renewable energy. Your company must decide which renewable energy resource is most suitable for development in your state. Your team must create a presentation that briefs the company on current choices for renewable energy and proposes the best option.

Research solar energy, wind energy, and at least two other renewable energy options.

Create a 15- to 20-slide (not including title slide and references slide) Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation that addresses the following:

• A summary of the renewable energy options researched, including relative potential power outputs, pros and cons, potential costs, and requirements for each option
• Available resources in your state for the development of renewable energy and current renewable energy plants, such as existing solar or wind farms
• Potential barriers or tradeoffs to the development of each renewable energy option
• An assessment and proposal of the best option based on your research

Include three to five sources formatted consistent with APA guidelines.
