Refer to the examples selected, for each of the above listed communication genres, and answer the following questions in a 700- to 1,050-word paper:

  • How does the communication relate to the particular communication type or genre?  In what ways does the genre help readers grasp information quickly and effectively?  In what way is the genre similar or different than the other genres selected as on of the three examples?

  • How does listening fit with communication?  Does the use of these items promote understanding for the intended audience of the communication?  How is it similar or different than the other genres you chose?

  • Is the communication intended for external or internal relationships or open distribution?  Describe ethical and privacy considerations used for determining an appropriate method of distribution. How is it similar or different than the other genres you chose?

Use at least two academic sources in your work, including one from the course required reading material.
