Background:  You work for a company that has an on-premise data center. Your company is interested in moving to cloud computing. Your manager has asked you for information on cloud computing and cloud services (i.e., IaaS, SaaS, PaaS).

Initial Response (Due Thursday): This week our focus is one megatrends – cloud computing. Your initial response must be a minimum of 175 words and address the following:

  • What is cloud computing? What are the characteristics of cloud computing?

  • What are the advantages of cloud computing? What specifically would cloud computing help with in your business?

  • What are cloud services?

  • What cloud service would you recommend to your business? Why?
