Background:  You are the CIO of a technology company. You have been invited to give an educational presentation to a group of high school students in the technology club. They have asked you to present on the topic of Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE) in the context of full home automation.

One substantive initial post response is due on Thursday. The post must be a minimum of 175 words and address the following:

This week our focus is on one of the five megatrends – Internet of Things. In your initial post, you are a CIO of a Technology company that is asked to speak to a group of high school students. In your post, cover the following content:

  • What is the Internet of Things?

  • What is the Internet of Everything?

  • Provide a real-world example that illustrates the difference between IoT and IoE.

  • Describe what full home automation looks like.

  • As it relates to IoT and IoE, what security concerns exist? How can these be minimized?
