Review UOP’s Sample PowerPoint in the Center for Writing Excellence to guide you in creating an effective presentation. The sample can be found in the Tutorials & Guides section of the CWE, under the heading labeled Sample.

 

Create a visually engaging 8- to 10-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation on the interview and assessment processes.

 

Use speaker notes for most of your information.

 

Include the following:

 

  • Briefly outline the four stages in the assessment process that are discussed in Chapter 5 of the Woodside text.

  • Describe how to effectively manage at least two barriers during the interview.

  • Discuss at least two pitfalls to avoid when interviewing clients.

 

Include a minimum of 2 sources, at least one of which should be from course materials.

 

Format any citations in your presentation according to APA guidelines. [HINT: This includes in-text citations in the speaker notes when sources are used.]
