Identify a variety of resources that could be used to create a developmentally effective early childhood learning environment. 

Select an early childhood age or grade level and create a diagram of a developmentally effective learning environment. 

Consider how your learning environment will contribute to the physical, motor, cognitive, and affective development of the students. 

Include the following in your diagram:

• Meeting area
• Centers
• Gross motor activities
• Cubby spaces
• Resources and materials, including storage
• Teacher work space
