Gather various resources or tools available to design your early childhood setting.

Design a setting map that reflects an engaging and productive early childhood setting environment. Arrange young children and teacher work space, materials storage, learning centers, and other considerations.

Consider primary classrooms size reduction based on the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 to incorporate space on the carpet or floor for specific types of instruction to promote literacy and language for kindergarten through Grade 3.
