ENG 215 Week 2 Annotated Bibliography

At this point, you must determine the validity and quality of your research sources. In this assignment, you are listing the sources you have identified as potentially supportive of your argument for your Week 5 Persuasive Research Paper and Presentation. However, this annotated bibliography is more than a list of resources. Each source must be listed in correct APA format and be accompanied by a brief, evaluative summary. By writing these summaries, your annotated bibliography helps you evaluate the credibility and relevance of your sources in shaping and supporting your argument. The skills of paraphrasing and summarizing are foundational for any research writer. This assignment will prepare you for research projects and literature reviews in college, as well as in your career.

Conduct several searches using any of the databases in the library related to the topic about which you want to write.

Select four to seven scholarly, academic sources from the library search that support the topics and arguments you plan to present in your final paper. These sources should be peer-reviewed articles.

Review the Annotated Bibliography document for format. For example, you will see that the bibliography should contain correctly formatted APA-style entries, and includes a one-paragraph evaluative summary of each item in at least three sentences.

Write a four- to seven-item annotated bibliography for your Week 5 Persuasive Research Paper and Presentation.

Include a title page formatted using APA style
